KitchenAid Empire Red 9-Speed Hand Mixer

The most efficient hand mixer from KitchenAid is put to the test in this review to determine just how powerful it is.

The corded, all-purpose, gold-standard mixer is sold as the KitchenAid 9-Speed Digital Hand Mixer. We put it to the test to discover how much power it has to offer and whether it can easily handle ingredients that are dense and heavy.

It comes in five colors, each of which is a component of the KitchenAid brand's distinctive look. Empire Red, Onyx Black, Contour Silver, Candy Apple Red, and White are the colors in question. We examine every aspect of the KitchenAid 9-Speed Digital Hand Mixer in this review to determine whether it lives up to its reputation.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE 9-SPEED DIGITAL HAND MIXER BY KITCHENAID

The KitchenAid 9-Speed Hand Mixer was the mixer we tested whose unboxing we enjoyed the most. It comes in a little box and also includes an extra whisk and dough hook. I adored the fact that this model includes an embroidered KitchenAid logo dust bag for your attachments. It's wonderful to have those extra elements when you're spending a lot of money on a mixer, and it goes above and beyond to demonstrate that.

Using the KitchenAid 9-Speed Digital Hand Mixer to Make Whipped Cream

The Oster Heatsoft Hand Mixer, which had an additional whisk attachment and was perfect for our whipped cream test, and the KitchenAid 9-Speed mixer were the only two mixers available. We wanted to find out how long it would take the cream to combine into firm peaks using the whisk. This specific mixer includes that beautiful soft-start function that gently increases the speed of the whisk or beaters to prevent splattering. This made the mixer seem comfortable to grasp and complemented the elegant digital controls.

Using the KitchenAid 9-speed digital hand mixer, make the cake batter.

Cake batter will likely be the most popular use for a hand mixer among many people. I used the eject button on this mixer to change from the blades to the beaters to create the cake batter. I used the cable's locking feature to keep the cord neatly tucked away as I used the mixer because cake batter requires more effort than whipping cream does. This avoids the cord's potential contamination with ingredients and serves as a compromise for the model's lack of the requested cordless capability.
